China's Hunan province to deploy CNIT's digital hospital information systems

SHENZHEN -- China Information Technology Inc. (CNIT)., a China-based provider of information technologies and display technologies, announced recently that the Hunan Department of Health has qualified its proprietary digital hospital information systems (DHIS) for use throughout the entire province. It is currently in use in Guangdong, Guangxi and Hainan.
CNIT said its software products passed all necessary assessments in each product category, allowing it to become one of only four qualified vendors whose DHIS products are recommended by the Hunan Department of Health.
"We are pleased to become one of the few DHIS vendors in China whose products meet all standards and testing requirements of the Hunan Department of Health," said Jiang Huai Lin, Chairman and CEO, CNIT. "The recognition puts us in a favorable position to win future digital hospital projects related to the Ministry of Health mandate and to further penetrate the Hunan market."
CNIT, through its subsidiaries and other consolidated entities, specializes in information technologies and display technologies. Headquartered in Shenzhen, China, the company's integrated solutions include specialized software, hardware, systems integration, and related services.
