In the United States, calls for emergency services are made through 911. To access any other government service, there is 311. This paper looks at how leading-edge technology can extend the 311 service beyond just reactive services.
The next generation of 311 focuses on the design around the constituent to identify opportunities to achieve efficiencies through cross-agency collaboration and service delivery.
