Roland Slee is vice president for Database Product Management at Oracle. In this video interview he talks about the shift towards a shared service model when it comes to applications. He believes that shared services supports the demand for greater flexibility and agility in the delivery of services within the public sector. He describes some of the areas where public sector IT have the advantage over their private sector counterpart when it comes to adoption of shared services or cloud-based infrastructure.
