Rising demand for medical care are overwhelming health services and governments resulting in more time being spent on managing than treating. Critical to easing this new management burden is the creation of systems that facilitate information exchange. This paper looks at the development of electronic personal health records and the challenges it poses to all members of the ecosystem.
In compliance with the Gulf Cooperation Council’s (GCC) regulation requiring the creation of national ID cards to allow citizens of the council to travel freely to member states, the middle-eastern country of Kuwait recently enlisted the services of Gemalto, a digital security company, to provision such cards to its citizens.
Digital security firm, Gemalto, recently announced that it has been selected to supply Gemalto’s Sealys eTravel solution to India’s National security printer, India Security Press.
