Global BPO firm Accenture has been commissioned by Singapore’s Ministry of Education to enhance and maintain the Ministry’s ‘school cockpit’ system, a web-based school administration system that serves teachers at around 300 schools in the country.

The Ministry of Education (MOE), together with NCS Pte Ltd and Google are working together to make available the Google Apps (Education version) suite of online communications and collaboration tools to more than 30,000 teachers and staff in over 350 schools in Singapore by the end of 2009.

Singapore’s Ministry of Education has implemented a career portal that helps students use the assessment module to identify their personal interest, abilities and values; and tap on the education and employment databases effectively to make informed choices concerning their education and career paths.
